Vector Solutions Teams Up with NFPA® to Make Free Electric Vehicle Training Available to All Firefighters
The NFPA FIRST Training Application is leveraging innovative technology that meets the needs of today’s digital native learners by developing game-like simulated training. This new training is designed to provide firefighters with a realistic and immersive simulation for extinguishing fires with Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
Vector Solutions, the leader in training and operations management technology for the fire service, is excited to make this dynamic NFPA FIRST Training Application available to the fire service. We have created a new pre-built custom activity for tracking the training completed outside of the TargetSolutions training platform.
Please note the following:
♦ The NFPA FIRST Training Application consists of a zipped .exe file, hosted within a Vector Solutions landing page (not inside the TargetSolutions LMS).
♦ Users can download the application to run locally on a laptop and/or desktop PCs (does not work on Apple/Mac computers).
♦ Download to access Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), the First Application User Guide, and the End User License Agreement (EULA).

Interested in Tracking This Dynamic Training Inside TargetSolutions?
Vector Solutions has created a new Custom Activity for tracking the NFPA FIRST Training Application. This new pre-built activity is now available to help fire departments track their personnel’s time on the app, either by department leaders on their personnel’s behalf (in group-training situations) or directly by personnel (in single-player situations). This helps firefighters receive the credit they deserve.
To find this activity inside the TargetSolutions platform, go to the Activities Builder, click "Import Example Activities” in the upper right and scroll down to the “Fire Industry: Training” section. Click “NFPA FIRST Electric Vehicle Training” to open the Activity and then click the green “Import Example” button to import the activity to your own TargetSolutions site.
