Vector Solutions and the IAFC's VCOS Are Proud to Present Special Award for Training
The IAFC's Volunteer and Combination Officers Section and Vector Solutions are joining forces for the tenth consecutive year to present the 2023 Training Officer Recognition Award, which acknowledges exemplary conduct by a training officer. The nomination period is now open!
The award is meant to recognize an individual who goes above and beyond in the delivery and execution of their agency's training, exhibiting exceptional creativity, commitment to best practices, and operational effectiveness at their department.
What Is Required to Be Nominated?
✔ Nominees should be chiefs, training officers, or others acquainted with training
✔ Nominees should demonstrate innovative methods for training (i.e. implementing new technologies, creativity with training, etc.)
✔ Nominees must be an IAFC member, or come from a department where the department or the chief is an active IAFC member
What Will the Winner Receive?
✔ Free registration at 2023 Fire-Rescue International event in Kansas City, Missouri
✔ Round-trip airfare to the Fire-Rescue International conference and a three-night hotel stay
✔ Recognition at VCOS section meetings and a plaque commemorating the award

✔ Winner will be announced in early July
✔ FRI is scheduled Aug. 16-18 in Kansas City
