About Our Panelists:
Cathy and Javier Bustos have experienced many critical incidents separately and together throughout their careers as Texas Peace Officers. With a combined 46 years of law enforcement experience, their mission is to help public safety professionals and their families deal with the stress of critical incidents. Cathy and Javier are certified Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Instructors. Cathy is also certified through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) as a group and individual crisis instructor. She's also a certified trainer on the topic of Law Enforcement Suicide.
Johnny Roberson, a Solutions Engineer with Vector Solutions, started his law enforcement career in 1987 and has worked in many different roles, including patrol, training, FTO, SWAT and many special details. During his time as a law enforcement officer, Johnny attended multiple specialized schools, including the 196th session of the FBI National Academy. Johnny also served as firefighter and EMT at Goodlettsville Fire Department, TN where he was promoted to an administrative captain/training officer. Johnny also serves as a Deputy Director of Sumner County Emergency Management.
